We not too long ago heard from a reader who’s on the lookout for an on a regular basis sweater…
“Question for the #CoJHiveMind: where can I find a simple, neutral sweater that will look cute at school drop-off and the office and weekend brunch? I’ve been inside for almost two years and am ready for something new. Basically, I want a comfy sweater that can break some hearts. Help!” — M.
Great query! We’re on it. Here are eight choices:
The Everyday Crewneck: A pal not too long ago tried on this Target pullover, and he or she mentioned it drapes superbly.
The Softest Cashmere: I’ve a trusty J.Crew sweater that I’ve worn for nearly a decade, and their new cut is similar, besides extra relaxed and even softer. Bonus: it is available in 17 colours.
The Pop of Color: How cool is that this pink cardigan? You might stroll down the road and brighten up the winter.
The Warm Hug: How cuddly does an alpaca henley sound? I like the old-school vibe and large buttons.
The Polo: This fall, I’ve been seeing collared sweaters in every single place. They’re timeless and would look nice with denims or black pants. You can discover them in cashmere, ribbed and lightweight.
The Colorblock: Made in L.A., Donni’s two-tone cardigan would look cool layered or by itself.
The Half-Zip: I’ve had a long-time principle: everybody seems extra enticing in a half-zip. Looking ahead to seeing them round this fall.
The Money No Object Sweater: If you’re going to splurge, right here’s the place. How nice are these thick stripes? Plus, the cotton-silk mix is gentle sufficient to put on year-round.
Thoughts? Which would you put on? What different recs would you share?
