Mark Zuckerberg Says Twitter is ‘Hard to Spend Time on’

Mark Zuckerberg finds Twitter is “hard to spend time on” while he is at The Joe Rogan Experience podcast as he compares it to Instagram.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Meta, which owns the social media giant Facebook and messaging service WhatsApp, laid out the differences between his experience with Twitter and Instagram.

Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg Says Twitter is ‘Hard to Spend Time on’

As per the latest news by Business Insider, no less than the Meta CEO, Zuckerberg, has shared his ill experience with the microblogging platform Twitter.

For the owner of Facebook and Instagram, his time with Twitter is pretty uneventful.

And as such, while Zuckerberg was a guest on the podcast of Joe Rogan, he took the opportunity to take a swipe at Twitter, which currently faces a legal battle against Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

The big boss of Facebook says that he “finds that it is hard to spend a lot of time on Twitter.” He further adds that when he does, he could not help but get “too upset.”

However, Business Insider reports that the Meta boss also goes on to compliment millions of Twitter users.

Zuckerberg described the users of the blue bird social media as “super-witty.” And that’s not all. The Facebook owner also notes that these folks typically blurt out “super-insightful things.”

Yet, he states that most of these Twitter users leave hurtful remarks or are “very cutting.”

But besides taking a swipe at Twitter, Zuckerberg compared the Meta-owned Instagram to the blue bird social media.

The tech entrepreneur believes that Instagram – unlike Twitter – gives off an opposite vibe.

He thinks that the photo-sharing service, which now was to dabble more on videos, is “a super positive space.”

On top of that, the CEO goes on to disclose that most of the criticism that they get actually calls out Instagram for being “overly positive.”

Twitter vs. Instagram

Zuckerberg further compared Twitter and Instagram during his time at The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast.

He further told Rogan in his podcast that Instagram “is easy to spend time” on, as tech exec believed that it is home to tons of positivity. On the other hand, he says that Twitter is “hard to spend a lot of time on.”

The CEO points out that the varying design of the two giant social networking platforms set them apart.
