My Packing List for England | Cup of Jo

What do you often pack for journeys? My buddy Susan has an awesome strategy: she packs in a single coloration scheme, so she will combine and match throughout her journey. Before leaving for this week with my aunt and grandmother in Cornwall (yaaaaaaaayyyyyy!), I wrote down the principally blue items that may layer for unpredictable English climate. Here’s what I introduced (and I’d love to listen to your go-tos)…

1. For years, this babaa sweater has been the very first thing I’ve put in my suitcase. It’s tremendous mushy and skinny, so it really works effectively in all kinds of climate. I put on it with denims on the flight and over/beneath any ensemble whereas exploring.

2. The precise gown I’m packing is from Ganni perpetually in the past, however any darkish patterned gown is excellent for touring. You can really feel stylish, pair with sneakers, put on it to dinner, spill stuff on it, no matter! It’s your workhorse. (Plaid, floral, tiered)

3. A chambray shirt that goes with all the things, verify.

4. Striped shirts? Groundbreaking. But this one, with its unfastened match and contrasting neckline, feels particular. Plus, it is available in 9 cool colours.

5. Wrinkle-free pajamas for padding round and making tea within the mornings.

6. Whenever I put on this track jacket, associates, neighbors and even strangers praise it. It’s a random/humorous crowdpleaser, and I like how cozy it’s.

7. Old-school jeans, with a tiny bit of stretch, that simply match very well.

8. I’ve an outdated Clare V. bag that I’m slowly carrying to dying, however the new ones are attractive, too. How cool is that this puffer?

9. Trusty sneakers to go along with denims and clothes.

10. Flats while you need to really feel sleek. (Ballet, Mary Jane, leather.)

All in all, for per week in England, I packed: two jackets, two sweaters, three shirts, one gown, two pairs of denims, flats, sneakers, pajamas, and a crossbody bag. You can combine and match all the things. Plus, of course, I introduced underwear and bras; and my everyday makeup and skincare. That’s it!

What do you pack for journeys? I’d love to listen to. Here are some Instagram photos from this week, when you’d wish to see; here’s what I packed two years ago. xoxo

P.S. How to pack without wrinkles and a vacation mistake.
